School Uniform

For items listed in bold type: the sweater must be bought from ‘Uniform4Kids’ School Shop or Lyons School Shop. The school kippah can be purchased on the school shop on Parent Mail. All other items can be bought in any shop (e.g. supermarket) that stocks school uniforms.

PE Kit for all pupils in Y1-Y6:

  • Navy shorts and navy tracksuit bottoms; light blue t-shirt; navy PE bag;  black plimsols (KS1)/ trainers (KS2).
  • No leggings, tights or cycling shorts are to be worn underneath the kit.

Notes

  • Jewellery, with the exception of watches and plain stud earrings for pierced ears, is not allowed.
  • Only the school kippa or the coloured Sephardi kippa are allowed.
  • Outdoor coats or anoraks may be any colour
  • Sweatshirts must be purchased from Lyons School Shop/Uniform4Kids.
  • School kippot are available from the school shop.

  • Summer dresses for girls and short trousers for boys may be worn from the start of the summer term until the October half-term.
  • Hair decorations or slides may be navy or black o­nly.
  • No sandals are allowed.
  • On formal occasions e.g. Chagigat Siddur or concerts, teachers may request all children to wear the School formal uniform, i.e. no shorts or summer dresses. Teachers will remind pupils of dress code for formal occasions.
